                                      Food Link Events.

We currently run several events throughout the year.

Seedy Sunday: March/April. Normally held in Durness. The main aim of his event is to exchange/buy seeds and supplies, and a few pot plants. We run a cafe, with all proceeds helping to fund Foodlink expenses.

Seedling Sunday: May/June. Again, held in Durness. This time to sell/exchange all those seedlings you've grown since Seedy Sunday. The cafe again is very popular.

Tattie Fest: November. The flagship event for Food Link. Fun and games for the kids. Cafe, with a potato theme, and live music, and of course, the Food Link stall selling potatoes, and other vegetables. This event travels around the coast, Scourie, Kinlochbervie, Durness, in successive years, this year being in Durness.

Courses: We try to arrange courses to inform, and encourage new growers. Any suggestions for new courses welcomed.

Stall: We hold a stall in Scourie weekly during the summer, and also attend the major games and shows in the area. Durness, Assynt, Loch Duart, Kinlochbervie, plus other events to promote the Food Link.
